Sauvage Parfum transitions the line away from the metallic, high-screaming shower-gel freshness of the original EDT, leaning into a much smoother, creamier, and richer Amber-Woody profile.
- Top Notes (The Juicy Opening): Mandarin Orange, Bergamot, and Elemi Resin. A bright, zesty, and slightly sweet citrus opening, balanced by a warm, balsamic, and spicy undertone.
- Heart Notes (The Smooth Transition): Sri Lankan Sandalwood. A highly premium, creamy, and milky wood note that dominates the middle, stripping away any harsh edges.
- Base Notes (The Smokey Trail): Tonka Bean, Vanilla, and Olibanum (Frankincense). A rich, warm, and deeply comforting dry down that leaves a sweet, ambery, and slightly smoky trail.
The Origin: Under the Wilderness Sky
Launched in 2019 and formulated by Dior’s former master perfumer François Demachy, Sauvage Parfum was inspired by the raw, untouched beauty of the desert at twilight. The concept represents the exact moment when the cool air of the evening night meets the burning hot sands of the desert, releasing intense, primal aromas.
While the Eau de Toilette is playful and loud, the Parfum is designed to be the highly polished, mature older brother—sultry, smooth, and incredibly luxurious.
The Design: The heavy, magnetic-capped 100 ml flacon is a design icon. It features the signature deep midnight-blue to transparent glass gradient, but with the word "Parfum" highlighted in a brilliant, clean silver lettering. It’s an understated powerhouse of a bottle that houses one of the most widely complimented masculine DNA profiles ever created.
