Released in 2020 as part of the celebrated Loewe Solo family, Solo Mercurio takes its name from the element Mercury (Mercurio)—symbolizing fluidity, adaptability, and sudden transformation.
The fragrance was developed under the creative direction of Jonathan Anderson to fit into the house’s unified Botanical Rainbow collection. Unlike traditional linear pyramids, the perfumers structured Mercurio using paired agreements (citrus paired with tobacco, amber paired with herbs) so that no single note overpowers another throughout the wear.
The Botanical Rainbow Flacon: The 100 ml bottle features Loewe's signature clean, block-like glass flacon finished in a warm, translucent yellow-amber gradient. It is crowned with a handcrafted cap made from natural dark wood, connecting high-design minimalism with organic craftsmanship.
