Hermès H24 belongs to the Aromatic-Green-Metallic family. It is celebrated for entirely skipping traditional cedar/sandalwood bases in favor of a clean, warm-iron, textile-inspired freshness.
- Top Accord (The Botanical Spark): Clary Sage. A warm, herbal, and botanical opening with subtle amber undertones that drive the fragrance forward.
- Heart Accord (The Green Core): Narcissus Absolute. A crisp, green floral note that adds texture and a natural, meadow-fresh crispness.
- Base Accord (The High-Tech Trail): Roselene (Synthetic Metallic Note) and Rosewood. The star innovation—a molecule that evokes the warm, clean scent of steam rising from freshly ironed suit fabric in Hermès' ready-to-wear ateliers.
The Origin: A New Chapter in Hermès Men's Perfumery
Released in 2021, H24 was created by Christine Nagel as Hermès' first major standalone men's pillar fragrance launch since the legendary Terre d'Hermès in 2006.
The name H24 is a subtle interplay of codes: H for Hermès, H for Homme (Man), H for Heures (Hours), and 24 representing both 24 hours of the day and the house's historic flagship address—24 Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré in Paris. Inspired by Hermès menswear artistic director Véronique Nichanian’s fluid fabric designs, Nagel wanted to recreate the tactile sensation of touching light, warm, high-performance textiles.
The Rhomboid Refillable Flacon: Designed by Philippe Mouquet, the 50 ml bottle features an aerodynamic, diamond-like rhomboid shape in clear glass. Etched with a subtle green-grey tint and topped with an aluminum cap, the eco-designed bottle is 100% refillable and crafted from recycled materials.
