Gucci Bloom Ambrosia di Fiori belongs to the Floral-Amber family. It is celebrated for taking the fresh white-floral DNA of the original Bloom and making it deeper, richer, and more velvety with precious red and powdery accords.
- Top Notes (The Nectar Opening): Jasmine Sambac Absolute and Rangoon Creeper. A luminous, sweet floral start featuring the powdery, color-shifting blossom of the Rangoon Creeper vine.
- Heart Notes (The Noble Core): Tuberose and Damask Rose. The centerpiece—a lush, buttery tuberose wrapped in the velvety, deep-red sweetness of rare Damask rose.
- Base Notes (The Velvet Trail): Tuscan Orris (Iris Root) and Soft Musks. A precious, powdery, and earthy foundation that adds sophisticated depth, elegance, and multi-hour longevity.
The Origin: Inspired by the Food of the Gods
Released in 2019 under the creative vision of Alessandro Michele and crafted by master perfumer Alberto Morillas, Ambrosia di Fiori was named after Ambrosia—the mythical drink of the Greek gods said to grant immortality to those who drank it.
Morillas sought to create a richer, more vibrant "intense" chapter in the Bloom story. Instead of relying on traditional heavy base notes like vanilla or patchouli, he deepened the formula purely using precious floral extracts: raw Tuscan Orris (one of the most expensive ingredients in perfumery) and Damask Rose harvested in the early morning in Bulgaria.
The Burgundy-Red Flacon: The 100 ml bottle retains the iconic, retro square silhouette of the Bloom line, but is cast in an opaque, deep lacquered burgundy-red glass. Sealed with a vintage pink Gucci label and matching red cap, it visually embodies the rich, red floral nectar resting inside.
