Chloé Nomade Nuit d'Égypte belongs to the Amber-Floral family. It reinterprets the signature adventurous spirit of the Nomade collection with a warm, resinous Egyptian twist.
- Top Notes (The Sacred Resin Spark): Myrrh, Kyphi Accord, Cinnamon, and Opoponax. A rich, spicy-balsamic opening inspired by ancient resinous incenses burnt along the Nile.
- Heart Notes (The Luminous Floral Core): Egyptian Orange Blossom, Broom, and Jasmine Sambac. A bright, honeyed floral centerpiece harvested directly in Egypt to add radiant sunlight.
- Base Notes (The Enveloping Trail): Vanilla, Amber, and Sandalwood. A smooth, creamy, and lingering foundation that softens the spices into a sweet, skin-like warmth.
The Origin: A Personal Homage to Gaby Aghion’s Homeland
Released in 2024, Nomade Nuit d'Égypte was created by perfumer Juliette Karagueuzoglou.
The scent serves as a deeply meaningful tribute to Chloé founder Gaby Aghion, who was born in Alexandria, Egypt. Karagueuzoglou collaborated with historians to reconstruct Kyphi—the ancient Egyptian sacred perfume first recorded in medical papyri. By modernizing Kyphi with sustainably sourced Egyptian orange blossom and warm vanilla, the fragrance connects the house's modern identity back to its founder’s roots.
The Egyptian-Blue Flacon: The 75 ml horseshoe-shaped flacon keeps the classic Nomade silhouette but trades its original blush-pink leather ribbon for a striking, deep Egyptian blue braid (Kyphi blue). The neck ring is wrapped in matching blue thread, evoking the sacred lapis lazuli gemstones worn by ancient royalty.
