Armani Privé Vert Malachite belongs to the Woody-Floral-Solar family. It is globally famous for its intense, velvety white floral character balanced by creamy gourmand warmth.
- Top Notes (The Luminous Spark): Bitter Orange and Petitgrain. A bright, fresh, and slightly citrus-green opening that cuts through the upcoming floral richness.
- Heart Notes (The Solar Floral Core): Red Lily, Ylang-Ylang, and Sambac Jasmine. An explosive, creamy floral centerpiece where the solar warmth of ylang-ylang meets lush, narcotic lily and rich jasmine.
- Base Notes (The Velvety Trail): Vanilla and Siam Benzoin. A smooth, skin-like, and long-lasting foundation that provides a sweet, resinous warmth to the white bouquet.
The Origin: The Magic of Russian Malachite
Released in 2016 alongside its companion Rouge Malachite, Vert Malachite was composed by master perfumer Fabrice Pellegrin as part of the Terres Précieuses (Precious Lands) collection within Armani Privé.
Giorgio Armani was inspired by the richness of Russian culture and the mesmerizing green patterns of malachite, a stone historically revered in Russian folklore and royal architecture (such as the Malachite Room in Saint Petersburg's Winter Palace). Pellegrin sought to translate the vibrant green stone into scent, choosing red lily and ylang-ylang to create a floral fragrance that feels as rich and textured as polished stone.
The Marbled Gemstone Flacon: The 100 ml bottle is a collector's masterpiece. Each opaque glass vessel features a unique, resin-poured pattern of emerald and dark green marbling designed to imitate real malachite stone, meaning no two bottles in the world are identical. It is topped with a matching resin stone cap and adorned with a polished gold plaque.
