Released in 2021, Hero was composed by renowned master perfumer Aurélien Guichard as the flagship masculine fragrance under Riccardo Tisci's creative direction at Burberry.
The fragrance explores the duality between strength and subtlety, represented visually in its famous campaign by the imagery of a horse and man running side by side along the shoreline. Guichard achieved this balance by blending three different cedarwoods: Virginian cedar (for clean structure), Atlas cedar (for warm amber depth), and Himalayan cedar (for a rich, dry leatheriness).
The Horse-Hoof Flacon: Designed with angular, architectural lines, the translucent glass bottle features a strong, modern silhouette inspired by the shape of a horse's hoof. It is topped with a bold black cap featuring an embossed TB (Thomas Burberry) monogram.
