The Origin: A Secret Rose in the Loire Valley
Created in 2017 by master perfumer Amandine Clerc-Marie alongside Countess Isabelle d'Ornano (co-founder of Sisley Paris), Izia—pronounced "Ee-zee-ah" (the Polish pet name for Isabelle)—was born from a deeply personal memory.
In the gardens of her family estate in the Loire Valley, Countess d'Ornano planted rose bushes with a completely unique scent. These mystery roses bloom for only two weeks in late May. Fascinated by their citrusy, lemony scent, she asked Clerc-Marie to capture their brief, magical bloom inside a bottle so it could be worn year-round.
The Sculptural Flacon: Designed by Polish sculptor Bronisław Krzysztof, the 100 ml glass bottle features two organic, pebble-like glass cutouts that fit together like smooth river stones. Tinted in a soft golden-pink sheen, it reflects the radiant, sunlit character of the d'Ornano rose.
