Mugler Angel Eau De Toilette belongs to the Fruity-Gourmand-Floral family. It preserves the unmistakable gourmand identity of the original Angel EDP while replacing heavy honeyed notes with bright florals, crisp fruits, and a cleaner patchouli base.
- Top Notes (The Celestial Spark): Peony and Mandarin Orange. A fresh, rosy, and zesty opening that gives the fragrance an immediate, light-filled lift.
- Heart Notes (The Delicious Core): Praline, Red Berries, and Apple. A mouthwatering, sweet centerpiece featuring smooth hazelnut-chocolate praline balanced by crisp, tart fruits.
- Base Notes (The Velvet Trail): Patchouli, Cedarwood (Blond Woods), and White Musk. A refined, woody-musky foundation that softens the signature Angel patchouli into a sleek, skin-like sillage.
The Origin: Reimagining the Legendary Star
Re-launched in 2019 as a modern reformulation of the EDT concentration, Angel Eau De Toilette was crafted by perfumer Louise Turner to offer a younger, fresher, and more daytime-friendly interpretation of the 1992 icon.
Turner wanted to retain the addictive "praline-patchouli" duality that defined the original Angel, but stripped away the heavy chocolate, honey, and dense spices. By introducing a delicate Peony Accord and Blond Woods, the scent gains an airy, translucent texture that makes it effortlessly wearable year-round.
The Standing Pink-Blue Star: The 50 ml flacon reimagines Mugler's iconic five-pointed star. Unlike the EDP star which lays flat, the EDT bottle is designed to stand upright on its point. Tinted in a soft, ethereal gradient from ice-blue to delicate powder pink, it catches the light like a celestial gemstone on your vanity.
