Released in 2022, Réserve Privée was created by master perfumers Nathalie Lorson and Olivier Cresp in an unprecedented collaboration with a master whisky distiller from a historic Scottish distillery.
The perfumers infused the composition with authentic whisky absolute produced in Scotland using aromatic barley. By blending this malted, barrel-aged essence with Givenchy's iconic Tuscan iris, Lorson and Cresp achieved a sophisticated harmony between powdery floral elegance and smoky, boozy warmth.
The Whisky Flask Flacon: The iconic heavy-glass Gentleman bottle is reinterpreted to resemble a classic whisky hip flask. The glass features a striking gradient—transitioning from deep jet-black lacquer at the top to a glowing, amber-burnt caramel hue at the base, showcasing the rich liquid inside.
